Andrew Stanbridge's Journey

David J. Carol

If you don't know who Andrew Stanbridge is yet, you're in for a treat. Andrew and I started corresponding in 2010 when I first saw his photographs on Facebook. Every time we would swap emails he would show me new projects he was working on. Well now that I'm working with Emerging Photographer its my honor to share his work with you.  Andrew can capture mystery, humor, pathos and tragedy all in one photo. This man knows how to shoot color photographs.  He excels in making light and color as much the subject of his pictures as the people and places he reveals to us. This talented photographer not only documents fascinating places but he does it in a personal style that is always compelling and interesting. The photos you see her are from the town of Mong La in a remote mountain region at the Burma-China border. Go to his website http://andrewstanbridge.com/mong_la/ and see more of his fascinating work. Enjoy the journey, I did...
