Five Rules for Road Trips

By David J. Carol

My five rules for a successful road trip:

 1) Don't have a specific destination and never be in a rush to get there.
 2) Stop whenever you think you might get a photo. Take the photo and worry about if its any good when you get home.
 3) Get up early; never sleep late. The mornings are magical on the road.
 4) Don't drive after sunset; you will miss something.
 5) Eat where the locals eat.

Of course I don't always follow my own rules, know why? I'm a photographer!
