My Ten Favorite Places to Photograph

David J. Carol

DAVID J. CAROL

Whether I'm traveling or close to home, there are certain "subjects" that always inspire me to take a picture. Now, I'm not saying I'll get any "keepers," but at least I know I'll be shooting and having fun. Here's a list of 10 go to "subjects" that work for me.

1) Self portraits in bathroom mirrors.
2) Dogs being dogs
3) Dilapidated buildings
4) Beaches
5) My shadow
6) Very dense crowds
7) Deserts
8) Empty roads
9) Relatives doing everyday things (not posing)
10) My food

On any given day, at any given time, I can pretty much assure you that I'm taking pictures of at least one of these subjects.
