“Honestly, I am not sure my words will do justice to my first assistant, Don Razniewski,” says adventure photographer Jorg Badura. Razniewski, who’s been working with Badura over the past six years, is particularly praised for his ability to roll with the punches. Badura recalls that on a recent shoot, when they needed to familiarize themselves with new cameras overnight, Razniewski was perfectly proficient with them by the next morning. Having saved the day many times, he gets the job done under any condition, “even with a broken toe,” Badura says. “And did I mention that he isn’t afraid of heights and he doesn’t get seasick?”
