Michael Clarke, who has about ten years of experience in the photo industry, started working as first assistant for Damian Strohmeyer back in 2008 while also working with staff photographers at Sports Illustrated. Clarke continues to travel to cover lighting, remote camera and portrait work for various sports projects, including for the NCAA, NBA, NHL, MLB and the Olympic Games. Currently working as the staff photographer for Suffolk University in Boston, Clarke “is a skilled and deserving assistant, and rising photographer who will be a force in the photo community in the near future,” Strohmeyer says.
