An image made in Russia by early twentieth-century photographer and chemist Sergei Prokudin-Gorskii that was recently featured in an issue of Stern.

In March, Stern, the German news weekly (the name means “star”), debuted a redesign undertaken by Luke Hayman of the design firm Pentagram and the magazine’s in-house design team, led by Art Director Johannes Erler.
