Starting in October, the residents of the Bronzeville neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side will see an unusual outdoor advertising campaign. On abandoned buildings and a vacant lot, large-scale black-and-white photos by Carlos Javier Ortiz, Jon Lowenstein, Jack Bridges and other photographers will depict new uses for the sites: a grocery store selling fresh produce and cafes serving healthy food installed...
