Nick Veasey on X-Raying a House

Some of the interior details—notably the stairwells—show up in Nick Veasey’s X-ray of the Easter Elchies House, but he left the plumbing and other details out of his stone and slate scale model so the final image wouldn’t be too busy.

Known for his X-ray photographs of large objects, photographer Nick Veasey was commissioned by The Macallan distillery to create X-ray images for a collector’s set of boxes for its Sherry Oak 12 Years Old Scotch.
