A Mysterious Family Discovery Inspires Holly Andres’s "The Fallen Fawn"

Holly Andres’s “River Road: Milepost 13,” from her series “The Fallen Fawn,” which was shot over the course of five days. Andres says she knew she wanted to start with an image of a fawn. “I thought of this beautiful, fragile deer as a metaphor of the fallen woman,” she says.
