Photographing the Standoff at Standing Rock

New Year’s Eve on top of Turtle Island, a location sacred to Standing Rock members. Tsong-Taatarii used vacation time and paid his own expenses to make his first two trips to North Dakota to cover protests against the Dakota Access Pipeline.
