Giles Duley, a British photojournalist, stepped on an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan’s Kandahar province last February 7 while on patrol with a U.S. Army unit. He lost a significant part of both legs, and his left arm from the elbow down. After a long recovery, he describes the experience and his plans to resume his career.
