5  of  7 O’Sullivan has gone from doing his own darkroom printing to having digital C-prints made in a lab. “The paper stocks for c-prints today have too much contrast as they are produced for digital printing,” making them difficult to work with in the darkroom. Digital C-prints are improving. “It is still a slight compromise for me as the purely chemical process has such a unique feel to it.”
