New Adobe Lightroom and Camera Raw Release Candidates Available Now

Adobe has announced release candidates Lightroom 5.2 and Adobe Camera Raw 8.2. Lightroom 5, Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop Creative Cloud users gain support for additional cameras including the Canon EOS 70D, Fujifilm X-M1, Sony DSC-RX1R and Sony DSC RX100 II, additional lens profiles and bug fixes. A new DNG Converter release candidate is also available.

Both release candidates also offer new and enhanced features for Lightroom 5 and Photoshop Creative Cloud. A couple of highlights of what you can expect from release candidates include refinements to the local adjustment brush and new feather control for the Spot Healing Tool in both Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC. Additionally, Lightroom 5’s Smart Preview size has been updated to 2560 pixels on the long side and Photoshop CC now has an interactive histogram with click and drag adjustments. Sorry, Photoshop CS6 userssince Creative Cloud was launched, updates for Photoshop CS6 are limited to new camera support, additional lens profiles, bug fixes and security improvements.
