Object of Desire: Nikon Quick-Draw Strap

JULY 16, 2014

By Dan Havlik

Nikon users now have a custom-designed, sling-style camera strap to call their own. Blackrapid, which essentially invented the entire sling genre, has teamed up with nikon to create the Nikon Quick-Draw Strap. As with other Blackrapid products, the Quick-Draw is a padded strap that goes over your shoulder and lies diagonally across your chest, with a special fastener on the end that attaches to the camera’s tripod mount. When you see something you want to shoot, just grab the camera from your hip and glide it up the strap via a carabiner-style connector. An underarm tether holds the strap in place while locking bumpers limit your camera’s range of motion so it doesn’t fly around. And with the nikon logo and yellow block of the company’s trademark color on top of the strap, you’ll be able to flaunt your brand loyalty.
