It’s the ultimate collection for the ultimate Leica M fan: a limited edition kit that includes analogue and digital versions of these classic rangefinder cameras, alongside a trio of razor-sharp M-series lenses and other goodies. Called the Leica M Edition 100
and limited to 101 sets for the entire global market, the kit is part of the company’s celebration of 100 years of Leica photography. The Leica M Edition 100 includes the analogue Leica M-A rangefinder; the black-and-white digital Leica M Monochrom rangefinder; three Leica Summilux-M lenses in focal lengths of 28, 35 and 50mm; and Kodak TRI-X 400 black-and-white film (remember film?) to use with the Leica M-A. The M centennial set comes in a black anodized aluminum case made specifically for Leica by Rimowa. The leather-lined case is divided into compartments for each component of the set. To cap it off, special engravings on the top plates of the camera bodies commemorate the Leica centennial, as do the unique serial numbers, which end with four digits from the years between 1914 and 2014.
