Cyclops Gear Cyclops 360

Contrary to what you may be thinking, Cyclops Gear is dedicated to action/motor sports gear, not outfitting the X-Men’s leader. Still, this futuristic action cam would look right at home with Xavier’s crew. The Cyclops 360 boasts a 220-degree lens to swallow up the scene. There’s built-in Wi-Fi for wireless remote control and image previewing on a free app for iOS and Android devices. You can snap 26-megapixel still images and record video at a maximum resolution of 2448 x 2448 at 30 fps. If you need faster frame rates, you can drop the resolution to 1440 x 1440 to hit 60 fps. You can navigate through the camera’s internal menu on a 0.96-inch LCD display. The camera offers several shooting modes including time lapse and slow motion. A loop recording function records either 2, 3 or 5 minutes of footage on a continual basis, erasing past clips as the memory fills up. The companion app supports multiple views including the ability to view footage in Google Cardboard or as a 360-degree flat panorama. You’ll get about 80 minutes of recording time on the camera’s battery. This is a cost-effective 360 package—it includes not only a housing that’s waterproof to a depth of 50 meters, but a 32GB microSD card, helmet, handlebar and roll cage mount as well. What’s more, its base is magnetic so you can slap it to the side of a vehicle or other magnet-welcoming surface for your immersive, point-of-view thrills.
