Newcomer TH Swiss is releasing a second ultra wide-angle lens for full frame Canon, Pentax and Nikon DSLRs, the Irix 11mm f/4.
The Irix 11mm is a manual focus lens that features a focus lock mechanism, a rear gel filter slot and will click when focus reaches infinity.
Like the company’s 15mm lens, the 11mm will be sold in two versions. Both are weather sealed with nine rounded aperture blades. They’ll stop down to f/22.
The Firefly is built of a lightweight composite with an anti-slip rubber coating focus ring. It will include a soft lens pouch and retail for $575.
The $775 Blackstone is built from a more durable aluminum and magnesium body and will offer engraved fluorescent markings on the lens barrel. The Blackstone edition also ships with a hard lens case.
