Stylish camera straps are a dime a dozen these days so it takes something really special to turn our heads. Italian handcraft company Angelo Pelle has done just that with its recent line of stunning neck and wrist straps for cameras. Based in Florence, the company produces a variety of leather-crafted straps and half cases for Leica, Sony, Fujifilm and Olympus cameras. The Pelle product that really caught our eye is the Laccio Leather Strap, which looks like a cross between a bullwhip and a coiled snake. In fact, along with traditional black leather, the Laccio (which translates as “lasso”) comes in Red Snake and Real Python options. While it’s designed for Leica M rangefinders (both analogue and digital), the Laccio can be used with Fuji, Sony and Olympus cameras, shipping with two small pads to protect those models from being scratched by the strap’s metal rings. The Laccio comes in a variety of lengths and can be used alone with a camera or paired with a protective half case.
