We proudly present the winners of the 25th annual PDN Self-Promo Awards. Once again, you've sent us your thoughtfully created self-promotions, and once again they do not disappoint. The photo environment today is competitive, and the winners of the 2009 Self-Promo Awards illustrate the creativity, drive to succeed, and luminous photography that the best in our industry have put forth during these trying times. The attention-grabbing promotions in the following gallery show a wonderful range of approaches: at times humorous, serious, minimal or elaborate and always impactful in their own way. Migrating the contest online this year allowed the multimedia campaigns to shine. From Matt Barnes's extraordinary posters and picture disk record promo to Andrew Hetherington's blog (a Self-Promo Awards first) to Brook Pifer's lip dub video of music industry personalities singing Journey's “Don’t Stop Believing," your outstanding efforts earned our applause. We would also like to send a big thank you to our wonderful judges who donated their time and expertise.
