Steve Bonini

Jeff Martin, Creative Director/Brand Ninja at MIGHTYKarma in Denver says Steve Bonini, a sports/action photographer based in Portland, Oregon, brings something special to shoots.

"One of the first times I worked with Steve Bonini was on a mountain bike shoot outside Bend, Oregon. I remember wondering how far the nearest emergency room was, as I watched our mountain bikers repeatedly bunny-hop over his head for one particular shot.
"In the end we got some great images, nobody went to the hospital and I got my first glimpse of the 'Bonini Moxie.' When it comes to shooting action, sports or professional athletes, Steve is a natural. His resolve to get the shot is inspiring. And his style and ability to gain the athletes confidence early, and make them comfortable on set is huge. He always delivers, and he does it with a great attitude. "Not always an easy task to handle when you're working with big personalities, their agents and a very limited amount of time.
"The raw energy Steve brings to the shoot positively affects everyone on the set, and always finds its way into the final image. And with the talent to pull off shots ranging from authentic and real feeling  to bold with a hint of the supernatural, he's developed the right game to capture subjects that tend to be a little superhuman."
