Blair Bunting has accomplished quite a bit in his career as a portrait, editorial and automotive photographer, and now he can cross "flying in an F-16 jet" off his list. In summer of 2011, Bunting was contacted by the United States Air Force inquiring if he would like to be an honorary commander, a position granted to accomplished civilians to "bridge the military to civilian gap." Bunting accepted, and has been the honorary commander of the 425th fighter squadron, The Black Widows, for a little over a year.

Bunting was recently contacted through the program to photograph an F-16 fighter jet, and he was also given the opportunity to fly in it as well. A video of his flight and more on his experience can be read on his blog.
