Bob Stevens Shoots Los Ojos: Life on the Streets of Los Angeles
February 03, 2014
Los Angeles-based advertising and documentary photographer and director Bob Stevens presents work from a series entitled "Los Ojos: Life on the Streets of Los Angeles." Los Ojos is Spanish for the eyes, and through the eyes Stevens tells the stories of 12 recovering drug addicts and ex-gang members from East LA and how they were able to turn their lives around. Pictured here is Robert, a recovered drug addict and ex-gang member who is now working as the Director of the same facility where he did his rehab. Stevens presents these remarkable and inspiring stories of redemption with elegance and simplicity.
