Chicago-based corporate advertising, portrait and lifestyle photographer Doug McGoldrick recently shot a fascinating project for designer Keith Glantz of Glantz Design. McGoldrick and the Glantz team drove down to LeClaire, Iowa and spent the day at LeClaire Manufacturing. MCGoldrick photographed the factory and their powerful industrial equipment, producing billowing flames and heat. The open oven in the photo series (below) is pumping out at about 1,300 degrees. The company makes castings and also pours parts out of aluminum for different engine parts, mainly for motorcycles, atvs (all terrain vehicles) and some John Deere tractors. The images will be used for LeClaire's newly designed Web site. You can see more of McGoldrick's industrial photos here.
