May 09, 2013
Martin Adolfsson will present his series Suburbia Gone Wild at the Apple SoHo location on May 13th, 2013 at 7 p.m. in conjunction with Glasshouse Assignment. The series was completed thanks to a successful Kickstarter campaign, and Adolfsson will be speaking on the process of the project, the book that followed, and his experience launching a successful media campaign through Kickstarter.
Apple description below:
"Swedish photographer Martin Adolfsson's Suburbia Gone Wild is a six-year photographic study of model homes and the suburban landscape in emerging economies. Although the images bear an uncanny resemblance to American suburbia, they document the growing global phenomenon of urban sprawl in developing cities as housing for a new upper-middle class expands outward."
