Jeff Singer Shoots Record Producer Dan Lanois and Author Greg McKeon

By Barbara Goldman

Musician and record producer Dan Lanois.

San Francisco-based advertising and editorial portrait, music and corporate photographer Jeff Singer  photographed the famous 1953 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop Guitar that belongs to  legendary Canadian musician and  music producer Dan Lanois for The Grid.  Singer photographed the guitar at The Warfield where Lanois was to perform with another legend, Emmylou Harris to, celebrate the 20th anniversary of her album "The Wrecking Ball." Singer has his own 1957 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop so this was a particularly enjoyable shoot for him. Read and see more about the Lanois guitar shoot here at Singer's blog

Singer also had another assignment to photograph author Greg McKeon for Seven Publishing UK.   See more about the shoot with the author of Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less.
