Volvo C30
Nigel Harniman is one of the good ones. Not only does his expertise shine when it comes to technical aspects such as angles, light, reflections, he is way way ahead of everybody else. It’s also very easy to talk and discuss creative aspects on set. He also ads a personal value. You might argue that English humor is strange, but after a day or two you are laughing. Early morning or late evening he is always smiling and one of the things I like is that nothing is impossible when you ask for that extra thing.
We have worked together on "conventional" automotive location shoots. Then in 2010 we did a unique project when we travelled around the world to make CGI backdrops for the new Volvo C30 in Barcelona, Hong Kong, Chicago, Miami and Rio De Janeiro, which also included model pictures that showed how versatile and great he is. Now that’s a good photographer if you ask me.
