Cincinnati-based advertising portrait, lifestyle photographer Jonathan Robert Willis does tons of advertising campaigns but he always like to keep several editorial clients on his roster. They often toss him unique opportunities to shoot interesting people, and he finds editorial shoots really help to increase speed of production. As Willis says, "Plus, I love the challenge that comes with having very little time to win over your subject, get a flattering and compelling shoot and see how far you can push your ideas." Recently he shot a story for legendary restaurant owner Jeff Ruby for Cincinnati Magazine. Ruby is famous for his high-end steak houses where celebrities stop in frequently. Willis had about 30 minutes with Ruby to knock out two specific shots.
