Cincinnati-based photographer Jonathan Robert Willis recently worked with Northlich Art Director Brian Nelson to create a series of promotional images for the Cincinnati Ballet. Upcoming performances include a collaboration between the ballet company and singer-songwriter/guitarist Peter Frampton, prompting the idea to have Frampton's famed guitar as the backdrop to the design. After finding two guitars to piece together to replicate the instrument, Frampton opted to let Willis shoot the real deal. He shot on location in the musician's home, and is honored to have had the opportunity. "It's one of the few current beauty shots of his guitar," Willis comments. "I am really proud of the end result."
