Los Angeles-based advertising and editorial lifestyle, portrait and fashion photographer Lou Mora recently photographed the Rising Stars of America, a non-profit organization founded by two-time NBA All Star Baron Davis of the New York Knicks. The organization strives to nurture and develop the talents of an elite group of young basketball players from the Los Angeles inner city districts. Mora had the opportunity to spend the day with the Rising Stars, boys between the ages of 11 to13 years and witness firsthand their passion for basketball and eagerness to excel.
