 London-based photographer Nigel Harniman has a long history of shooting advertising commissions worldwide, mainly in the automotive sector, but also encompassing other areas. Harniman combines a wealth of photographic knowledge with cutting edge CGI.   He was commissioned by Ford USA to produce their first CGI stills pan-USA advertising campaign for their new Edge model in 2006. Things progressed with Air-CGI running alongside Harniman.  Harniman now has a new  blog  and  Web site showing his expertise and recent assignments. Click here to see his Ferrari shoot. The backplate for this CGI car was shot in Chicago when Harniman was on a round-the-world shoot for Volvo shooting in Hong Kong, Rio, Barcelona and Miami for a major ad project involving the CGI of 23 Volvo C30 models!  He shot the alleyway for fun and the image had sat around for a while waiting for the right car to be put in  the scene.
