Nir Arieli has been working on a series of infrared portraits of male dancers, showing the beautiful and sometimes strange details that infrared photography can bring out. Arieli is a first place winner of the PDN FACES contest and a new member to PhotoServe.com. Born in Israel and now based in New York, Arieli's images often focus on his love for dance and the human form. He experiments with the way he shoots and edits his imagery, such as his series "Tension" (pictured below) where he lays multiple images together to create photographs of male dancers who interact with their translucent selves in sensual ways. For more of his work, visit his portfolio.
