Mother-daughter documentary filmmakers Gail Mooney Kelly and Erin Kelly are proud to announce that their film Opening Our Eyes- Global Stories about the Power of One has been invited to The Artivist Film Festival in Los Angeles, CA.
In the summer of 2010, mother/daughter filmmakers Gail Mooney and Erin Kelly embarked on a 99-day journey around the globe. They were seeking ordinary people, who were making a positive difference in the world. This documentary tells the stories of eleven people on six continents who are making the world a better place through the power of ONE. The filmmakers' goal is to inspire and motivate people as to what they can do.
The 9th Annual Artivist Film Festival & Artivist Awards will take place Thursday, November 1 through Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Barnsdall Theatre & Art Park in Hollywood, CA. This year’s festival will screen 31 international advocate films
raising awareness for human rights, children’s advocacy, environmental preservation, and animal advocacy.Speakers include international filmmakers, community leaders, and representatives from prominent NGOs. The event will honor Maria Bello, Devon Franklin, Christine Devine and S. Brian Willson
