Object of Desire: Ona’s Campbell Crossbody Camera Bag Takes Inspiration from Vintage Lens Cases

May 30, 2018

By Greg Scoblete

With film and instant photography trending again, it feels like the perfect moment for vintage lens-case-inspired camera bags. Ona’s new Campbell Crossbody can house a mirrorless camera or lens and is handcrafted from Italian leather by “skilled artisans in Morocco,” Ona says. It is detailed with solid brass hardware and has an ultra-suede lined interior for carrying your personal items. The bag includes a removable padded wrap that doubles as a lens cleaner. The leather strap is adjustable so you can wear the Campbell across your body (as the name suggests) or over your shoulder. It’s sold in pink, beige and blue (or, if you prefer, Desert Rose, Sahara and Bluestone).

The line also includes a pair of lens cases in small or tall sizes. These are made of Italian leather, with suede linings inside and brass accents outside. The tall Campbell lens case can fit a lens that’s 3.75 inches long, while the small can fit a lens that’s 3.25 inches long. The lens cases are offered in Sahara and Bluestone.

PRICE: $69/$99 (Lens Case); $249 (Crossbody)
