This unassuming backpack is built to take a pounding. The pack’s exterior is built with 1680D Cordura Ballistic fabric, which, when not protecting cameras, is often used for body armor, tool belts and motorcycle apparel. It’s not quite up to the task of taking a bullet, but the fabric is extremely abrasion-and tear-resistant. Cordura nylon is also weather-proof so water will bead up and roll off. If the skies really open up, the Repelica bag contains a hidden rainfly to cover it up. There are water-tight YKK zippers and an adjustable side strap for carrying tripods. There’s also a side-loading compartment for laptops up to 17 inches in size and a quick-access, zippered top hatch where you can store a DSLR with lens. The interior features customizable camera dividers and is roomy enough for about five lenses and a full-frame body plus a host of accessories.
