Have you ever tried to run through an airport with a backpack strapped to your back? It’s not advisable (trust us). Have you ever tried to drag a rolling bag up a mountain trail? Perish the thought. With the Airport Takeoff V2.0, you won’t ever have to face this trade-off. The Takeoff has rolling wheels, a retractable handle and backpack straps so it can accommodate both scenarios with relative ease. This new version is 15 percent lighter than its predecessor. It’s roomy enough for a pair of gripped DSLRs with lenses attached plus up to four additional lenses, a 15-inch laptop and a 10-inch tablet. You can even cram a 400mm f/2.8 lens into the pack. The exterior features a water-repellant coating, lockable YKK abrasion-resistant zippers and skid plates, alongside pockets for a tripod mount or water bottle. Inside you’ll find clear mesh pockets and closed cell-foam dividers. The Takeoff can fit in an airplane’s overhead bin and its retractable handle, wheels and feet are all user-replaceable in the event those baggage handlers get a bit too careless.
