GoPro is expanding its Hero action camera lineup with its cheapest action cam to date that still offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth access.
The $200 Hero+Wi-Fi delivers 1080p60 and 720p60 video recording, 8-megapixel still images and a 5 fps burst mode. You’ll enjoy a few features available on higher-end Heroes, including HiLight Tag, Auto Low Light, SuperView wide-angle recording and a time lapse mode.
It does shed features found on more advanced models like the Hero4 Black edition, such as ProTune control over exposure and 4K video recording.
The Hero+Wi-Fi is built directly into a waterproof housing that can descend up to 131 feet underwater. It is compatible with the full range of GoPro mounting accessories.
The Hero+Wi-Fi ships in the beginning of October.
