Fujifilm Delivers Tethered Shooting Lightroom Plug-in for X-T1/2

If you’ve been itching to tether up your X-T1 or T2, there’s now a solution. It’s in the form of a new plugin for Lightroom (Tether Shooting Plug-in PRO) available on the Adobe Add-ons site for $79.

The Mac version of the plugin will be available this month while the Windows version should be live in December.

The plugin supports a camera mode for transferring images directly into Lightroom, with any adjustments to exposures or settings done on the camera itself. In PC mode, you’ll be able to remotely view a live view from the camera, adjust exposure settings and trigger the shutter from a connected computer.

To use the plugin, X-T1 and X-T2 owners have to update their firmware. Unlike the plugin, the firmware upgrade is free.

The X-T1 needs version 3.10 or later while the X-T2 requires version 1.10 or later. X-T2 owners will also be able to back up and restore camera settings on their computer using the plugin’s control panel.
