We selected the stylish Fujifilm X10 as an “Object of Desire” in the November issue of PDN but, at the time we wrote the piece, there was no official pricing. Based on some Internet jabber, we estimated the 12-megapixel X10, which is the little brother to the Fuji X100 (reviewed here), would sell for $799 but it turns out we were over by $200.
Fujifilm announced recently that the X10 will sell for $599 and begin shipping in early November. It’s nice, for a change, when something turns out to be less expensive than was initially thought.
