The newest member of Leica’s growing family of APS-C lenses is an ultra-compact prime lens.
The Elmarit-TL 18 mm f/2.8 ASPH is the smallest wide-angle APS-C pancake lens currently on the market, according to Leica. It measures in at just 20.5mm long.
The lens stops down to f/16 and can focus on objects as close as .3m from the front of the lens. The 18mm lens can be mounted to Leica’s APS-C mirrorless cameras as well as the full frame SL.
Look for the Leica Elmarit-TL 18 mm f/2.8 ASPH at the end of November. It will ship in either a black or silver anodized finish for $1,295.
