How I Got That Shot: Ty Cole for Metropolis Magazine

“I want the the environment to be as interesting as the subject,” says Cole. In this shot, which Cole has featured on his website and in promotions, he used a strong keylight and fill to open up the space, and used a tall fluorescent light he found in the studio to provide an additional kicklight on the intricate wooden sculpture.
