It takes 10,000 hours of practice to achieve mastery in a particular task, if Malcolm Gladwell is to be believed (though maybe not). If the thought of spending 10,000 hours mastering Lightroom sends shivers up your spine, take heart: there’s always YouTube.
To that end, Colin Smith of PhotoshopCAFE has produced this video highlighting seven features in Lightroom you may not be aware of.
Smith shows you how to operate in solo mode, increase slider size, snap shapes to the size of your image, hide unwanted modules, edit a video, add an image to any collection and how to reveal metadata for individual images when selecting multiple photos. All very useful.
And while learning them may not make you a Lightroom master, they take considerably less than 10,000 hours to absorb.
