Beyond the classes, photo walks and staying out too late, WPPI 2018 had its fair share of new photo gear introductions.

If you didn’t get a chance to attend the show, here’s what happened in Vegas:

Sony launched the a7 III, a feature-rich full frame mirrorless.

Canon introduced the 470EX-AI flash, a unit that can automatically determine optimal position for the flash head for bounce flash and move the head into position all by itself. Canon also launched the Rebel T7 DSLR.

Epson revealed it would launch double-sided inkjet paper later this year and showed off a DIY photo book solution with said paper (that solution is still in the development phase, however).

Ikan introduced the PIVOT 3-axis gimbal stabilizer for cameras up to 8 pounds.

Interfit Photographic launched the Studio Essentials line of budget-friendly photo gear.

Spider Holster revealed the SpiderPro V2 camera holster.

Savage Universal showed off a new mid-size seamless and a light stand built to be positioned at odd angles.
